Eric Croissant’s BIO:

Eric Croissant is an unprecedented, innovative, energetic musical artist residing near Los Angeles, California. 

A Musical Renaissance-Man of sorts, he works freelance as: a multi-instrumentalist musician, music lesson instructor, music educator, social media influencer, songwriter, lyricist, vocalist, sound designer, visual artist, choreographer, music producer, life coach, model, dietician, creative director, and much more! 

The main ingredient that holds all of these together, is his remarkably deep passion for music itself that has been with him his whole life.

Currently, Eric plays with the bands: LALA Brass (Brass Band), Pandemonium Prism (Jazz Fusion Band), The Marlonius Jazz Orchestra (Jazz Big Band), The Teryn Ré Big Band (Jazz Big Band), and South Central Skankers (Ska Band).

Eric regularly performs across Southern California in Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach, and the Inland Empire. Venues including:
 Avalon Hollywood, The Mint, The Blue Whale, The Lighthouse Cafe, The Baked Potato, State Social House, Downtown Disneyland, Morongo Casino & Resort, and many others. He has toured outside of California to places like Washington, Illinois, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Mexico, Canada, and Hawaii. 

Some of his most notable performances to date are with LALA Brass, performing at The 2019 People’s Choice Awards with Alessia Cara, The 2019 NPR Tiny Desk Contest Los Angeles Show, and joining Rainn Wilson as he played bassoon for a benefit event. 

Eric formed the Jazz Fusion group Pandemonium Prism together with friends Christine Araoka, Ben Harris, and Joseph Verbal in 2019. Since then, they have released two music videos, two pop tune arrangements (Beat It & Happy), as well as two original single releases (Umbra & Luminescence). 

He has studied the saxophone with with Rusty Higgins, Jeff Ellwood, Charlie Richard, Adam Larson, and more.  Eric has briefly studied the flute with both Shannon Rose Canchola-Limon and Gary Woodward. Additionally, he has studied music composition with Thomas Hynes.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Eric has won a number of awards, the most recent being the recipient of the Most-Outstanding College Saxophonist award for the 2018 Reno Jazz Festival.

-Eric is thankful for the private instruction of John Rees, Ralph Comito, Charles Richard, Rusty Higgins, Thomas Hynes, Gary Woodard, Jeff Ellwood, Shannon Rose Canchola-Limon, and Adam Larson. Without all of these lessons in music and life, he wouldn’t have become half the musician or person he is today.
